Terms of Use

Last updated: October 12, 2026

These terms govern your use of NetHealthLab at nethealthlab.com (the “Service”), operated by Smart Trans Logistic LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you’re under the age of majority where you live, you may use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. What NetHealthLab is

NetHealthLab is a free, browser-based internet health check. It measures download speed, upload speed, latency, jitter and latency under load between your device and our servers, and presents an Internet Health Score, a rating and a suggested next step. How it works describes the method.

4. Results are informational

Results are provided for general information only. Findings and suggestions describe what the measurements may indicate; they are not a diagnosis, and they aren’t professional, technical or legal advice. A browser-based test can’t inspect your Wi-Fi signal strength, your router or other equipment, or other devices on your network. Decisions you make based on results are your own.

5. No guarantee of accuracy

We work to make measurements accurate, but we don’t guarantee that any result is accurate, complete or suitable for a particular purpose. Results can be affected by your device, browser, network, other activity on your connection, the route to our servers, and conditions beyond our control.

6. Measurement variability

Internet performance changes from moment to moment, and especially on mobile networks. Each result is a snapshot of your device, network and connection at the time of the check. Different speed tests use different servers and methods, so their results often differ from ours and from each other.

7. Not an ISP certification

NetHealthLab isn’t affiliated with any internet service provider. Results are not an official or certified measurement of your service and aren’t intended to establish whether a provider meets its advertised speeds, contractual commitments or regulatory requirements.

8. Data usage and metered connections

Each check transfers real data, which can amount to several hundred megabytes on fast connections. You are responsible for any data charges, caps or limits that apply to your connection. If you’re on a metered or limited plan, consider this before running checks.

9. Acceptable use

You may use the Service for personal checks of your own connection through the website. You agree not to:

We may block or limit access that we reasonably believe breaks these rules or threatens the Service.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including its text, design, scoring method and the NetHealthLab name and logo, belongs to Smart Trans Logistic LLC or its licensors and is protected by law. You may use the Service and share your own results, but you may not copy, modify or redistribute the Service or present it as your own. Open-source components included in the Service are used under their own licences.

11. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Cloudflare for hosting and network delivery, and may link to third-party websites. We aren’t responsible for third-party websites or services, which have their own terms and policies.

12. Advertising and affiliate links

The Service doesn’t currently show ads. In the future we may display advertising, or include affiliate links to products such as routers, through which we may earn a commission. Any ads or affiliate links will be identified as such and kept separate from your results. They won’t affect how your connection is measured or scored, and they aren’t endorsements. Our Privacy Policy will be updated before advertising is introduced.

13. Service availability

The Service is provided free of charge. We don’t guarantee that it will be available at all times or free of errors, and it may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control.

14. Changes to the Service

We may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service, including how measurements and scores are calculated, at any time.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smart Trans Logistic LLC and its members, managers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed US$50. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

18. Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect, and the unenforceable part will be applied to the fullest extent permitted.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we’ll take reasonable steps to let users know. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the updated terms.
